It is a quadrant antenna ideal
for low power single channel Band III TV application. The coverage
is basically Omni directional. There are 8 bays. Each bay is comprising
of two radiating elements giving approximately 1.5 dB gain. Each
dipole is mounted in V configuration. The dipoles are fabricated
from the aluminum of 1" wide & 5mm thickness.
An " N " Female type
connector is put at the bottom of the Aluminum Box. A 4 way zero
degree Wilkinson RF divider with aluminum heat spreader is enclosed
in the Box. RF power-handling capacity of the said divider is extended
up to the 1KW by changing the l/4 Transmission line. Four out put
of the dividers are terminated through the 4 bay dipole pairs with
suitable phase matching for maximum RF power transfer.
The total length of the antenna
is 7 meter. It is divided into two parts. The upper part is having
2 bays four pairs of dipoles mounted on AL pipe. While lower part
of the antenna consists of 2 bays four pairs of dipoles and divider
Box with input connectors.
The antenna is designed for easy
transportation in hilly area. The length of the antenna is divided
in to two parts. Please refer figure No.1 for details.
While installation of the antenna
at site, assemble the upper and lower part of the antenna and erect
the antenna on the existing mast/tower. The assembly procedure is
simple and can be executed by experienced DD staff.
The antenna is manufactured to
provide long-term reliability and high performance. It is factory
tuned for specific channel & assembled for easy installation
at site.
