The Company, till date, has received various awards and recognitions for its contribution towards the development of the society and also for its success in the field of electronics and Telecommunication System and Softwares for persons with disabilities.

AWARDS

• National Award for the Empowerment of persons with disabilities, Ministry of Social Justice And Empowerment, Government of India on 3rd December 2008 for development of new cost effective product for manufacture aimed at improving the life of persons with disability.

• WML and ICEVI together have been selected for the 100 IT       Innovators listing for 2007 in the Market Facing Innovation-    Emerging Companies category, by NASSCOM for WIMATS software.

• WML has received the certificate for Exemplary use of ICT by Public Sector Undertakings, for the work they have done for IT applications for education and communication of children affected with Cerebral Palsy. The certificate was presented by Shri Thiru A. Raja, Hon’ble Union Minister for Communications & Information Technology, Government of India, on the occasion of distribution of National Award for e-Governance, 2007- 08 in the 11^th National Conference on e-Governance held on 7^th February 2008 at Panchkula, Haryana.

• Industry Appreciation Award on 15th February 2007 for valuable contribution to Naval Science & Technological Laboratory, Visakhapatnam in the development of Chopper Speed Control System.

• The Company has received the “Excellence Award” for excellence in Productivity, Quality, Innovation and Management. The Award was presented by His Excellency Shri M.C.Bhandare, Hon’ble Governor of Orissa and the Programme was organized on 16th October 2007 at New Delhi by “Institute of Economics Studies”, New Delhi.

• The Manthan Award in the Year 2006 for Best E-content 2006 in the field of IT based Education & Rehabilitation.

• National Award for the Welfare of people with disabilities by Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India on 3rd December 2000.
