Priority to the visually impaired person in allotting chair caning jobs. Social security pension of Rs. 60/- per month for the visually impaired person destitute without any precondition. Exemption from professional tax. 100% subsidy for purchase of aids likes spectacles, tape-recorder, etc. Free medical treatment in government hospitals. In accordance
with General Manager, madhya Pradesh State Transport Corporation,
Bhopal order No. 704 dated 22.6.66 and traffic circular No. 40 dated
22.1. 68, visually impaired persons are entitled to travel free by
state roadway transport if accompanied by escort or may be charged
one fourth of the fare if he travels alone.
